Benjamin Rivera and his wife, Luz Marina Diaz Rivera, live in the La Pradera village in the department of Nariño. They own La Molineda farm, located at 1800 m.a.s.l. They mainly grow traditional Colombian varieties such as Castillo
and variedad Colombia. Benjamin came from a humble farming family, but he had always dreamed big. He knew that in his land, excellentquality coffee could be cultivated. Despite the numerous challenges that came their way, Benjamin and his wife Luz Marina did not give up. They were the first generation in
their family to cultivate coffee and devoted their entire lives to making it thrive.
They have seven children: Luz Marina, Yaneth Esperanza, Hermes Mesias, Luis Alberto, Benjamin, Maria, and Jose. They all became involved in the family business from an early age, contributing to shaping the family brand and
establishing themselves as renowned coffee growers in the region. Benjamin and Luz Marina work hard to ensure that their legacy as coffee farmers is passed down to their children in the best possible way. As their business grew, they were able to modernise their production techniques and expand the reach of their brand. Nowadays, the coffee cultivated by the Rivera family is known in the municipality for its unique and exquisite flavour. Their hard work has been the key to their success, and they have established a legacy of pride and honor in
their community. Despite the ups and downs they faced along the way, Benjamin and Luz Marina, along with their children, have proven that it is never too late to
