ORIGIN INFORMATION:
This exceptional washed lot comes from the renowned Worka Sakaro washing station in the Gedeb district of Ethiopia. Situated in the villageof Worka Chelbiesa at 2,200masl, the station spans 2.9 hectares and isequipped with 12 standardized washing tanks and 171 raised drying beds,ensuring precise and consistent processing. Local smallholder farmersdeliver ripe, hand-picked cherries to the station, where they undergo meticulous hand-sorting. Only the highest-quality cherries are selectedand then sun-dried on raised beds for approximately 21 days. Once theperfect moisture level is reached, the coffee is carefully milled andprepared for export. The result is a beautifully clean and vibrant. washed Ethiopian coffee showcasing the purity, sweetness,and character that Worka Sakaro is celebrated for.
